Eat your Zing !
What does zing mean to you?
Does it mean a buzzing feeling, or a burst of radiant energy right when you need it?
How about feeling ama-zing!
To Zing in athletics could mean having a greater snap to a movement or a smile during an important competition.
Many parts of foods can create a zing of flavour but today we single out Potassium for its ZING abilities to help send electrical signals from your brain to your muscles.
Without the powers of Potassium a zing would not be possible! Good thing our superfood friend Squash has potassium and therefore the power to ZING!

Nutrition Bit
One of the amazing superpowers of squash is that it provides a good amount of flavour and texture in the flesh while still being low in simple sugars and high in vitamins and minerals. The flavour alone can add that ZING to your recipes 😍

Nutrition Info
1 cup cooked squash = 14% of the daily requirement of potassium.

Suggested Meal
Squash can simply be roasted. Cut a whole squash in half and bake it for 30-60 minutes at 400 degrees for a quick meal win! And, if you are ready to take this a step further try out the Performance Squash Soup Recipe pictured here.
